The topic of the day was "Boats" and our question of the day was...
"What kind of things float on water?"
We sang "Row Your Boat" and practiced clapping once for each word. Then we talked about rhyming words, like...
"What rhymes with 'stream'?"
We also talked about where else boats go and replaced the word stream with other options, like 'river', etc.
On the theme poster, the kids took turns identifying pictures from magnifying glasses on the poster and counting the number of that item, for example... trees, crabs, etc.
Our art project of the day was a boat that we filled with matching cards that the kids can play with and use at home...
