Library fun with Mrs. Amador's Daycare!

Today we went to the Sacramento Library where the kids enjoyed the new Kids Zone. Everyone took turns using the kids computers and some of the magnetic mazes (which I promptly added to my Daycare wishlist: http://pinterest.com/misssteffanie/daycare-wishlist/)from Lakeshore Learning.
All the kids picked books for their quiet time/reading later in the day. R found books about super heroes, MJ found some good chapter books, J picked 3 Max and Ruby books, and M found a couple of great picture books.
After we checked out our books we walked to the park. The kids played tag and hide and seek at the park, in the Tot Land playground area. We had some lemonade and a snack at the playground before heading back to daycare home base.
Unfortunately, I forgot the camera, but I can tell you the kids loved the library and ran off a lot of energy at the park.

Here are the kids checking out their books and holding their entry forms for a 529 education savings plan giveaway...

After reading for just over 40 minutes the kids were ready to draw some pictures to show their daycare friends a scene from their favorite library book. Then, each child took turns telling the group about their book and their picture and every child got a round of applause following their presentation.

Here are their pictures...
